子どもたちと一緒に、芝居落語「EDO GROOVE」を鑑賞してきました！ 落語のお話を歌と演劇で面白く演出してくれて、12歳、9歳、6歳の子どもたちも終始爆笑！「もう一回見たい！」と大興奮でした。

劇中で、お蕎麦をそれは美味しそうに食べる演技があったのですが、それが本当に絶品で……。 すっかり影響された子どもたちは、帰宅するなり「お蕎麦食べたい！」と大騒ぎ。すぐに茹でて食べました。それだけにとどまらず、なんと夜ご飯も、そして今朝の朝ごはんまでお蕎麦（笑）！すっかり劇の中の江戸の世界に魅了されています。

舞台の後にはアフタートークもあり、出演者の皆さんの努力や練習にまつわる小話を聞くことができました。それがまた、子どもたちの心にも深く刺さっていたようです。

やっぱり、生の演劇って素晴らしいですね！アドリブが最高でした！

港区・湾岸エリアエリアからの週末のファミリーお出かけスポットとしても、目黒や恵比寿は実はすごくアクセスが良いですよ。

Family Fun at Shibai-Rakugo “EDO GROOVE” & Great Access from Tamachi!

I went to see the Shibai-Rakugo performance “EDO GROOVE” with my children! They blended traditional Rakugo storytelling with songs and theatrical acting so brilliantly that all my kids (aged 12, 9, and 6) were bursting with laughter the entire time. They’re already begging, “I want to see it again!” The ad-libs were absolutely amazing!

There was a scene where the actors ate soba noodles, and their acting was so incredibly realistic and delicious-looking… As soon as we got home, the kids were like, “We want soba right now!” So I boiled some immediately. And it didn’t stop there—we ended up having soba for dinner last night AND even for breakfast this morning! Lol. They are completely captivated by the world of Edo.

After the show, we also enjoyed the after-talk session. Hearing the cast share stories about their hard work and rehearsals really resonated with the kids.

Live theater is truly wonderful! ✨

📍 Location & Accessibility

• Venue: Theater Alpha Tokyo (3-24-7 Higashi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0011)

This theater is in a great location, just a 3 to 5-minute walk from Ebisu Station. But if you’re heading there from the Tamachi area, it’s a flat, straightforward 15 to 20-minute ride on an e-bike along Meiji Dori!

Even by train, it takes only about 14 minutes from Tamachi to Ebisu on the JR Yamanote Line. For families living in the Minato and Tokyo waterfront areas, Meguro and Ebisu are actually incredibly accessible and perfect for a weekend family outing!
